Key Responsibilites of the 2nd Press Operator include but are not limited to:

- Assist the Press Operator to ensure the quality of produced product exceeds customer expectations and that all performance goals are acheived.
- Perform general housekeeping.
- Comply with all GMP and quality procedures.
- Leads in washing of plates, blankets, rollers and ink fountains as needed.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues.
- Ensures all materials are available for the next job.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Follows all company policies and processes.
- Must be familiar with and able to adhere to all company safety policies and government legislation. (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act).
- Completes all required paperwork to accompany jobs.
- Attends and particiaptes in on-going training.
- Other duties as assigned and required.

Education/Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 -2 years experience in a manufacturing/printing environment preferred.
- Must be able to interact with customers, co-workers and managers in a professional and courteous manner, per the company Code of Conduct and Ethics.
- Must be able to work indepenantly when needed, and lead a team as required.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to adapt to changing work priorieis in a fast-paced environment while completing daily tasks.
- Must be able to take initiative
- Must have good communicaiton skills
- Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
