**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting and engaging with children and young people, including those with disabilities, to foster their development and well-being. The Youth Worker will create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that encourages growth, learning, and social interaction. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth through mentorship, activity planning, and supportive communication.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs of children and youth, including those with disabilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children, promoting positive behavior and social skills
- Assist in creating individualized plans for children requiring special accommodations or support
- Foster a safe environment by monitoring activities and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to support the child's overall development
- Maintain accurate records of participation, progress, and any incidents or concerns
- Encourage participation in educational, recreational, and community activities to promote social inclusion
- Support children during transitions and assist with daily routines as needed

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or care settings
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with youth
- Knowledge of teaching methods suitable for diverse age groups and abilities
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Relevant certifications or training in child development or special needs support are a plus
