We're doing well, and we're growing - and now looking to add another great person to our (already awesome) Network Consulting team.
**Position Overview**
Our next Network Consultant must be comfortable designing mid-sized and large organizations network infrastructure as well as helping architecting the backbone of a national cloud services provider. The individual must possess expert level knowledge in wireless, routing and switching, load-balancing, WAN, network security and remote access strategies using Cisco, Meraki, Citrix, Fortigate and Riverbed technologies. Our Consultants are expected to provide expert technical assistance and they are often responsible for client user training and feedback.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with establishing project scope and design workflow solutions for our clients while ensuring client satisfaction during the entire process
- Work with assigned project leads and Project managers, working assigned tasks and within defined project scope and milestones to ensure the successful deployment of I.T. projects for our clients.
- Strive to understand and improve IT Weapons Design and Build standards
- Participate in IT Weapons training and recommended certification paths
- Be available to assist your team members 24/7 on call based on rotating team schedule
- Be an escalation point for the Service Desk and other Consulting teams at IT Weapons
- Provide Subject matter expertise to diagnose and remedy server, network and end user issues that are escalated by Clients, client stakeholders and/or other members of the service Delivery team
- Handle multiple assignments, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines
- Professionally document all work performed and submit accurate timesheets on a daily basis.
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of client’s network environment and supporting material that ensures consistent quality remote support by any member of the Service Delivery Team.
- Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Principal consultant in relation to your area of expertise
**Required Experience**
- 6+ Years working on Cisco networking hardware
- 3-5+ Years of wireless analysis and implementations
- Experience in conducting wireless site surveys
- Previous consulting experience strongly encouraged
- An expert level understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.)
- A strong level of knowledge with regards to network segmentation/virtualization/security
- Experience working with Cisco Nexus 7k, 9k, 3k
- Expertise with regards to routing protocol redistribution and routing metric manipulation
- Experience supporting and implementing different types of WAN and VPN technologies (MPLS, L2, DMVPN, IPSec VPN, Q-in-Q, EVPL/EPL)
- Experience creating complex Visio network diagrams
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
**Education/Certifications**
- University Degree and/or related Technical Diplomas are encouraged
- Cisco: CCNA is required, CCNP/CCDP are encouraged
- Wireless Certifications strongly encouraged
