- Full-time, year-round employment in Edmonton
- Family-friendly hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

**MUST HAVE**:

- 4+ years of experience in residential renovations and/or new home construction.
- Ideal for someone who _may or may not_ have a journeyperson carpenter ticket, but has experience that is equivalent.
- Basic carpentry tools.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- Reading plans, following instructions and asking questions to ensure the scope of work is achieved.
- Identify building materials, tools, machinery and supplies required for the job and ensure timely distribution to the appropriate location(s) to avoid project delays and unnecessary trips.
- Demolition and framing
- Finishing carpentry
- Drywall, patch, paint and tile work
- Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
- Work with sub-trades to complete projects.
- Keep a daily log of tasks using Buildertrend construction software.
- Practice good housekeeping discipline on the job, which includes daily clean-up, organized tool and material storage and weekly trash removal, to ensure a safe, non-cluttered workplace.
