Check out this opportunity as a Global Sourcing Manager YOU will be responsible for the overall strategy and relationship with commodity, subsystem and/or Tier 1 vendors within a Commodity Category.

This is a hybrid role working remote 2-3 days weekly in the Design Center

**Other responsibilities include**:
In charge for the overall strategy formulations and relationship management for commodities, subsystems and/or Tier 1 vendors within a Commodity Category assigned, including but not limited to:
Owns the overall Commodity spent and responsible to deliver savings in line with annual objectives. Including plans to mitigate unfavorable cost inflation to the least impact.
Responsible for savings funnels executions and projections in a timely and accurate manner
Responsible for annual standard cost settings proposals
Lead periodic Supplier Business Review meetings; inclusive of Sciex Stakeholders
Develop and execute strategies to ensure supply continuity to meet production and sales demand with upsides opportunities including BCP for critical key suppliers.
Ownership of the overall success of the relationship between SCIEX and the suppliers.
Key liaison between SCIEX and suppliers with responsibility to define and manage strategic vendors & partners.
Point of contact for all issues and ensure ownership and accountability are clearly established and communicated.
Knowledgeable of the industry and the state of the suppliers business and the supply market overall.
Support SQE Team in quality improvements projects to maintain DPPM plan
Develop Supply Base to be use in our products, based on technical and business considerations (Vendor Selection Processes).QDCIB matrix.
Develop and maintain strong collaboration and communication within SCIEX with Commodity Strategy which meets the needs of all business areas and sites; inclusive of current understanding on industry and technology trends for assigned categories
Lead and collaborate with Procurement operations team members to deploy the strategy and respond to operational feedback.
Develop budget for operational forecasts, maintain, track forecast vs actual within approved budget.
Drive compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
Negotiate and execute NDA, Master Supply and other supplier related agreements
Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

**Key Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business

Good technical knowledge in high voltage and heating components

Commercial skills and contracts composition experience

Prefer 5+ years of Category Management end to end experience

3+ years of data analytic experience is preferred

**Key Attributes**:
Good negotiator and decision maker

Good judgment and ability to compromise when necessary

Knowledge of supply chain BOM structures - tier 1 systems to lower-level commodities

Detailed technical and commercial knowledge of at least three Commodity categories.

Knowledgeable in Electrical commodity market.

International management and multi-cultural experience.

Willingness to travel, occasionally for extended periods.

Ability to influence the organization.
