JOB SUMMARY
Our Dispatch-Router plays an integral role as part of a team dedicated to routing trucks for our major clients for our Vancouver hub. Constantly communicating with clients, customers and drivers, this role ensures day to day operations runs smoothly and efficiently through good planning and organizational skills, as well as a high standard of customer service.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform truck routing and scheduling for our major Western Canada clients
- Communicate with customer, clients, and drivers to ensure operational excellence on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide a high standard of customer service to resolve customer escalations and troubleshooting problems
- Create and review reports to identify trends and gaps for continuous improvement
- Perform basic administrative tasks, including filing and paperwork
- Promote a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
- Perform other tasks as needed as they pertain to our day-to-day operations

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 1 year of experience in a dispatching
- Basic office experience is an asset
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Experience with building truck routes, specifically pertaining to 2 person, big and bulky home deliveries is an asset.
- Experience with using dispatch, route building and delivery software is an asset

- Organized and shows strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask with different systems
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of computer systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office products
- Service orientated with a strong commitment to quality of work
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly, as well as work under pressure associated to a high volume of work.
