Key Responsibilities:_**
- Responsible for moving, or “shunting” empty and loaded trailers from the loading dock to and from the yard
- Operate a Forklift in a congested area
- Conduct a yard check which includes recording trailer numbers, fuel levels, trailer contents, and seal numbers
- Responsible for periodic cleaning of tankers outside of Edmonton
- Unloading Van Freight
- Washing Trucks
- General yard organization support when required
- Operate the shop truck in a safe and cautious fashion to maintain a clean driving record
- Parts Runs

**_Qualifications and Skills:_**
- A valid driver’s license for the type of delivery vehicle needed (Class 1)
- Good Driving record and ability to maintain it (Drivers abstract required)
- A clean driving record for the last 12 months
- Excellent communication skills
- Certification to handle dangerous goods, if applicable
- Secondary school diploma
- Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary.
