**The opportunity**:
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Identifying the urgency and severity of reported cases and escalate to relevant stakeholders.
- Installing computer hardware including but not limited to laptops, thin clients, laptop docks, monitors, printers, multimedia devices, network devices and desk phones.
- Installing computer hardware, not limited to laptops, laptop docks, monitors, printers, multimedia devices, network devices and Desk Phones.
- Acting as a liaison for Technology and Operational Software requirements supported by third party vendors.
- Testing and analyzing current and future IT Systems as required.
- Creating knowledge-based articles for common and critical issues.
- Documenting processes and recommending process improvements to leadership for consideration.
- Providing actionable recommendations to optimize current IT performance and proactively resolve future issues.
- Collaborating with various IT teams to ensure that IT needs are adequately met across the organization.
- Assisting with both new advisor and corporate employee onboarding procedures.
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining several Information Systems including but not limited to Teams Phone Solutions, Database Systems, Knowledge Management Systems, Ticketing Systems, Campaign Management Systems, File Repository Systems, Office Automation Systems, Media Hosting Systems etc.
- Participating in the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS infrastructure.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- A technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an IT Service Desk capacity; preferably in a Microsoft/Windows based environment.
- IT Asset Management/procurement experience is a strong asset.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Microsoft, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications would be an asset.
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Incident and Problem Management Processes and Tools.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Exchange, Azure, Windows, and Active Directory is an asset.
- Strong critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day to day work and long-term goals.
- Good time management skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills; an ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, across multiple mediums (in-person, over the phone, and virtually).
- A high tolerance for ambiguity; highly adaptive and able to manage a large volume of competing priorities.
- An ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.

**Conditions of employment**:

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be able to travel 0-20% of the time.
- A background check, satisfactory to the employer, may be required of the successful applicant prior to commencing employment.
