Reporting to the Global Tax Manager, the Tax Analyst will be responsible for matters relating to tax compliance, assisting with both indirect and direct filing and tracking all corporate documentation.
**Here's what you'll do**
- Manage indirect tax (Sales/Use, GST, HST, VAT, etc.) filings for U.S. and Canada through Avalara
- Preparation of monthly indirect account reconciliations
- Responsible for tracking and filing local U.S. property tax filings
- Assist other Departments with new and annual business registrations
- Assist with global transfer pricing and updates for agreements
- Manage intercompany loan agreements
- Help with withholding determination for intercompany settlements and cross border customer transactions.
- Review customer and vendor contracts for transaction tax risks
- Coordinate information for outside advisors' preparation of U.S. federal and state returns including foreign information reporting
- Coordinate the preparation by outside tax firms and review
- Contribute to systems integration projects for any newly acquired or formed entities
**Here's what skills you'll need**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, prefer advanced Accounting or Business degree
- CPA or equivalent
- Three or more years of experience in public accounting and corporate taxation (experience in a high-tech/software industry is preferred)
- Experience with Avalara's AvaTax software is preferred
- Experience with global entity structures
- Proficient skills in Excel
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting system
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Aider avec les prix de transfert mondiaux et les mises à jour des accords
- Gérer les accords de prêts interentreprises
- Aide à la détermination de la retenue pour les règlements intersociétés et les transactions clients transfrontalières.
- Examiner les contrats clients et fournisseurs pour détecter les risques fiscaux sur les transactions
- Coordonner les informations pour la préparation par les conseillers externes des déclarations fédérales et étatiques américaines, y compris la déclaration d'informations étrangères
- Coordonner la préparation par des cabinets fiscaux externes et examiner
- Contribuer aux projets d'intégration de systèmes pour toute entité nouvellement acquise ou créée
Voici les compétences dont vous aurez besoin
- Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou en finance, préférez un diplôme avancé en comptabilité ou en commerce
- CPA ou équivalent
- Trois années ou plus d'expérience en comptabilité publique et en fiscalité des entreprises (une expérience dans un secteur de haute technologie/logiciel est préférable)
- Une expérience avec le logiciel AvaTax d'Avalara est préférable.
- Expérience avec les structures d'entités mondiales
