Victoria, Canada Island Pharmacy Full time

Island Pharmacy is looking to hire a Pharmacy Assistant to join the dispensary team. Computer efficiency and positive attitude are imperative for this position. We are looking for someone who is confident with their skills and can learn quickly in a fast paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- intake and dispensing of prescriptions
- using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
- ordering items
- maintaining and counting inventory
- receiving, loading, unloading deliveries
- selling over-the-counter medicines
- answering customers questions face to face or by phone
- preparing, pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines
- handling and processing till transactions
- general cleaning and housekeeping
- referring problems or queries to the pharmacist
- additional duties when necessary

Wage will be based on experience.
