**Position: Component cleaner and Sandblaster**

**Key Responsibilities: Component disassembly inspection, cleaning, and sandblasting**
- Disassembly, inspection, and cleaning aircraft components
- Operate and maintain sandblasting and coating equipment to job specifications associated with sanding, substrate surface preparation, and abrasive blasting
- Properly protect and mask sandblasting and coating work areas
- General labour activities as required such as, but not limited to, hauling of material, tools, equipment, etc.)
- Perform work in a safe
- Ability to identify hazards
- Report all incidents, near misses and equipment damage to site supervision.
- Assist with other duties as required

**Required Qualifications**:

- Must be 18 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience industrial disassembling, inspection, sandblasting and cleaning
- Previous experience with Tank Sandblasting and Coating is preferred
- Familiar with spraying and sandblasting equipment
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with 3-year clean Driver’s Abstract

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture
- Must be dependable
- Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Working Conditions**:

- Overtime as required
