**What we are looking for**:
The R&I Stability Lab Technician will assist the Research & Innovation Stability Analysts and Manager to implement and perform Product Stability Program and other stability related

duties.

**What will you be doing**:

- Process samples submitted for stability studies (submission process) based on client’s protocol and applicable CLI SOP and / or work instructions
- Perform pH, viscosity and SG tests during the submission process
- Download the temperature and /or humidity reading from data loggers under each chamber and report to Analysts or Manager any out of trend value (temperature and / or humidity)
- Properly dispose waste water from humidity controlled chambers and refill the carboys source of humidity for each applicable chamber
- File stability related documents (i.e. certificates, reports, completed test templates, etc.)
- Preparation and filing of test templates for OTC studies
- Organize and maintain Stability control samples
- Calibration of weighing scales, viscometer and pH meter based on written procedures including record keeping and maintenance of calibration log books
- Organize samples which completed stability tests and dispose them based on proper procedure
- Ensure that chamber monitoring access charts are appropriately filed and replaced with a blank template in a timely manner
- Assist the Analysts and Supervisor / Manager with other related lab duties
- Post-secondary education in Chemistry and equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1 year work experience as a Stability Lab Technician or QC Analyst within a GMP environment in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry
- Must have understanding and basic working knowledge of analytical instruments within the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Proficient with MSOffice Suite of products (Word, Excel)
- Ability to troubleshoot and good problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and flexible with ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be a team player and must have understanding and working knowledge of analytical instruments in cosmetic industry
