Lumber Yard Associate

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts an asset.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately complete tasks within specified timeframes

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and unload lumber shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, to move and transport lumber
- Perform order picking and prepare lumber for shipment according to customer specifications
- Conduct regular inspections of lumber products for quality control purposes
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Pay: $16.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
