IT Intern

**A perfect opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to have hand-on experience in a full range of IT activity. This is a 4 month contract position.**

**ROLE**

The IT Intern will be a dual role providing assistance and support to the IT Department. This Intern will be responsible for managing their time with IT system administration and server support.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**E**ssential Duties and Responsibilities **include, but are not limited to the following:

- System administration and server support
- Software testing and quality assurance
- Provide 1st and 2nd level desktop support
- Assist with Microsoft teams; install, set-up, trouble-shooting, and employee enquiries

**EDUCATIONAL AND PRFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Currently enrolled in a College/University program.
- Experience with databases or programming is an asset but not required.
- This Intern should have a strong interest in working with others to solve IT software/hardware questions and issues.
- Knowledge of construction industry and electrical contracting is an asset.

**W**ORKING CONDITIONS**
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
