Residence Custodian Part-time Weekends

Ivy Hall is the primary residence of the prestigious private boarding school of London International Academy. The Custodian is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that Residence buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. The Custodial reports to the Director of Student Affairs and cares for our facilities and equipment. Maintaining these responsibilities will help to ensure the health, safety and security of our students.

Job Responsibilities

Hallways
- Sweep and mop all hallways
- Spot clean walls and doors as needed
- Clean glass in the hallways and stairwell doors

Student bathrooms
- Clean mirrors
- Dust toilet paper and paper towel dispenser
- Clean countertops and sinks
- Clean toilets and urinals inside and outside
- Replenish soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and paper bags for napkin disposals
- Wipe down all light switches, door handles, and locks with disinfectant spray
- Empty garbage cans
- Sweep and mop floors
- Spot clean walls and doors when needed

Main Lobby, Offices and Study Room
- Empty garbage cans
- Clean glass doors and windows
- Dust all furniture and pictures
- Straighten all chairs
- Wipe down tables
- Wipe down front desk
- Wipe down any furniture with marks or scuffs
- Spot clean walls
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum all mats

Basement and Activity Room
- Clean washrooms
- Sweep and mop all floors
- Clean kitchen countertops and microwave
- Empty garbage's
- Clean tables
- Dust furniture

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Must clear Vulnerable sector Police check

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour
