General Labourer

**Job Overview** The role of the General Labourer is to perform and assist in the daily production and ensuring consistent flow of work orders in the workshop. This role includes executing in the different stages of production utilizing equipment/machinery to achieve customers desired results while simultaneously showcasing our "HGH" quality. **This role is primarily focused on hand tooling granite utilizing different techniques with various pneumatic chisels. Experience in the stone industry and hand carving is not required but highly preferred for this role.** **Key Responsibilities** - Demonstrate a positive attitude in the workplace - Able to perform continuous physical labor in the workshop - Operate machinery such as sandblast booths, saws, overhead cranes - Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas daily - Operate and maintain tools and equipment - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment - Support team members with project tasks as needed - Attend all team meetings as requested **Skills** - Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects is required - Knowledge of basic hand and power tools is required - Previous experience within the stone industry is preferred - Good communication skills for effective teamwork - Attention to detail to ensure high quality work - Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - Do you hold any experience with working on stone such as granite, marble or limestone?
