**Pipelayer - Undergrounds**

**Key Information**:

- ** Must have at least 2 years as a pipelayer or equivalent experience.**:

- ** Must have at least 3 years undergrounds experience.**:

- ** Must be able to install valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.**:

- ** Must be able to install concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's and CB's**:

- ** Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days**:

- ** Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations)**:

- ** Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- **Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.**
- ** Installing water valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.**:

- ** Installing concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's, and CB's.**:

- Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.
- Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement.
- Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe.

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- ** Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Woman or equivalent for various sewer and water projects required.**:

- ** 3 years undergrounds **experience**.**:

- Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
- Must have an understanding of surveying.
- Must be able to do elevation shots.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings.
- CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
- ** A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.**:

- ** A reliable means of transportation is required.**:

- Proficient English language skills required.

**Education**: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
