**Job Overview**
We are looking for someone to add to our labour team and help support our journeyman. This role requires someone who is dependable, good at following instructions, and has a willingness to learn. Labourers are expected to help install a variety of flooring products and adhere to all construction safety standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Load, unload and transport construction materials.
- Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings.
- Prepare floors for installations.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Prepare and install hardwood floors, vinyl plank floors, and laminate floors.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.

**Requirements**:

- No experience is necessary; we will train.
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with others.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Someone who is dependable and has good communication skills.
- Must be able to work in noisy & dusty construction site settings.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Own steel-toed boots (all other safety wear is provided).
- Must be a permanent Canadian resident.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
