Ramp Attendant

The current schedule for the Ramp Attendant is Monday to Saturday from April 1 to September 30 with the possibility of part time shifts from October to March.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Direct customers to proper drop off locations in a professional manner
- Answer questions
- Communicate with foremen throughout the day to request equipment operator services
- Communicate with scale attendant to relay information regarding customer needs
- Relay any customer concerns or complaints
- Train on scale house operations
- Other duties as assigned
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Monitoring of vehicles and persons entering the premises
- Keep site clean and collect litter, assist with snow removal etc.
- Filling in as a scale attendant when needed
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Dealing with customers and managing complaints
- Outdoor environment (heat, wet and cold environments are probable)
- Potential lifting
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, and all co-workers required.
- Computer knowledge and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task, are required.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
