Stony Plain, Canada Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) Full time

_**RAPS is Seeking a Temporary part time caregiver to assist a Quadriplegic individual (E6)**_
- **Location**_: Stony Plain _**4-6 week contract starting October 23**_
- **Days: Monday to Friday**_
- **Hours: 8:30pm
- 10:30pm**_
- _**Job Description**_: Duties include but are not limited to: Transfers using a ceiling lift or Hoyer lift,_
- _Personal care assistance including: bathing, dressing, brushing hair/teeth, feeding assistance, etc._
- _Medication administration_
- _Catheter care_
- _Bowel routine assistance including: suppositories, digital stimulation, etc._
- _Providing transportation in an accessible minivan to and from errands/appointments_
- _Home care including: light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation_
- _Range of motion and physio therapy exercises_
- _Encouragement, support, and companionship_
- **Qualifications and Other Requirements**_: Applicants must have a recent criminal record check (including a vulnerable sector check), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive a wheelchair accessible minivan. Experience and/or education in the health care field is not required but will be considered an asset. Applicants must be physically able to perform the job duties and must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19._
