**The Role**:
We are looking for a Field Data Capture Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage key technical relationships with our clients and deliver expert product demonstrations that highlight our field data capture solutions. If you're passionate about technology and bring in-depth expertise in the surface-land energy industry, we'd love to hear from you
**Location**:
Calgary, Alberta. All applicants must either be in Calgary or willing to relocate to Calgary. Our office is located in Crowfoot, NW.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Work with existing clients to identify growth opportunities and manage product evaluations
- Assist the customer support team in responding to usability and functionality requests from customers
- Modify and enhance onboarding, technical training, and support documentation based on evolving user needs and platform updates
- Act as a liaison between customers and product teams, gathering and analyzing user feedback to influence product development and roadmap enhancements
- Partner with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive customer success strategy, including KPIs for service delivery
- Represent AbaData with a deep understanding of the technology, while showcasing technical expertise at industry events and trade shows
**Who we are looking for**:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business/Marketing, or a business diploma and relevant work experience
- 3-5 years proven knowledge and experience in the Energy industry (specifically surface-land experience)
- Robust knowledge in field data capture (FDC)
- 3-5 years customer facing experience
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- The ability to tell compelling stories rather than scripted sales pitches
- Ability to own and grow client relationships
- Highly self-motivated and well-organized
- Detail-oriented, focused, able to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple demands, and work with mínimal supervision
- Strong interest in technology with an ability to quickly learn new products and solutions
