We are looking for a Store Manager for our flagship location at Woodgrove Mall in Nanaimo. This location is responsible for company on-online orders as well as in-store customers.
This is a full-time position with an expectation to work between 32 and 40 hours per week. Hours and days are flexible as you create the store schedule but managers are expected to work one weekend shift per week (Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday) three weekends per month. Wage is negotiable and benefits are available after 6 months.
We require someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience of a combination of retail sales and/or assistant manager/manager experience. Knowledge of body jewellery is an asset. Self motivated, organized and good leadership skills are required.
Duties include managing all in-store operations such as:
- Sales
- Manage payroll and scheduling
- Merchandising
- Receiving orders
- Recruit, hire and train high performing store team
- Complete weekly reports and attend weekly manager meetings
- Bank deposits
