**About the Role**:
Reporting to the CFO, the Vice President, Information Technology is responsible for the
overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for Anthem. This includes
directing all IT staff and operations to meet business requirements as well as the

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develops and maintains a 3-year technological road map prioritized against

Anthem’s strategic plan and operational model
- Continuously seeks to improve Anthem’s technological capabilities through

research and prototyping of new technologies
- Oversees the planning and implementation of technology solutions related to

business needs
- Evaluates new and emergent technology for fit and function in line with

Anthem’s needs
- Participates in Anthem acquisitions model, evaluating and incorporating new

lines of business into Anthem’s technology program
- Manages the IT operational and capital (Project) budgets
- Manages relationships with all 3rd parties engaged in providing technical services

to the Anthem organization
- Manages risk through the adoption of frameworks, enforcement of policies and

procedures aligned with secure computing best practices
- Attracts and develops technology talent to create a high-performing team

focused on service excellence
- Promotes Anthem as a strong, attractive, and winning brand

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field or related experience
- Able to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure
- Proven history of delivering results
- Minimum four (4) years experience in a progressive IT role
- Experience in implementing effective and innovative software, processing

systems, concepts, and methodologies
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical

audiences
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and motivate professional staff
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership abilities - knows how to get the best from people
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
- Effective budgeting practices
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and MarTech systems (MS Dynamics, Salesforce an

asset)

(Office365, Google apps, Slack, etc)
- Effective verbal and written communication ability.
- Understanding of music industry software an asset (digital archives, players)
- Understanding of asset management systems leveraging contractual variables to

calculate an asset
