**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated, adaptable and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a dynamic role that requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively maintain customer relationships.

**Duties**:

- Deepen industry knowledge and understanding of the company's products and clientele.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and expand the client base.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and potential target markets.
- Formulate and execute sales and marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
- Assist with organizing and preparing customer orders for loading, shipment and/or unloading of product as required.
- Communicate with management about daily business activity and potential business opportunities in the area.
- Assist business managers in closing and finalizing deals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Create or assist with creating advertising or marketing material to develop business growth.
- Social media posting of products and marketing material (Facebook).
- Other activities or duties as required.

**Skills**:

- Proven experience in business operation or sales roles
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals successfully
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a drive for achieving targets and exceeding expectations

We offer competitive compensation packages including base salary plus commission as well as a group RRSP plan, health and dental, plus more. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement.
