**The Role - Assistant Bistro Manager**

Reporting to the Bistro Manager, you will support the running and operations of the cafe. Managing the team on the floor, ensuring a smooth serivce, ordering inventory and supporting the bistro manager in their duties.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service.
- Managing the team on shift while creating a positive work environment.
- Support with ordering inventory and supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Provide great cutomer service and engage with the community.
- Help to train new employees.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.

**Skills**
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a food service setting.
- Proficient in food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with Square.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on helping both guests and team members succeed.

**Job Type**:Full Time

**Starting Salary**:$21 per hour
