**General Accountability**

**Specific Accountabilities**

**On a project assignment - either individually, or by directing a consultant**:

- Gather, document, and analyze business intelligence requirements from Subject Matter Experts
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, project controls, operations, and finance teams to understand their reporting requirements.
- Document these needs and work closely with the system implementation team to deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and document detailed reporting specifications, reporting layouts, reporting use cases, and use visualizations (charts, graphs, etc.) to convey insights in a non-technical manner.
- Work closely with system implementation teams to translate business intelligence requirements into technical specifications, designs, and mock-ups.
- Provide detailed review of key project documents and deliverables.
- Support the testing and validation of the business intelligence solutions, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with reporting requirements.
- Support data migration efforts, engage with end users and project team to ensure a seamless transition.
- Support development of training materials, storyboards, and training materials.
- Monitor project performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Skill Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience required
- 5+ years of capital project experience, with **preference to mining/industrial projects, is required**.
- 3+ years of **business intelligence** experience with **preference of Power BI is required**.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management and project controls techniques and principles is required.
- Experience with **user acceptance testing** is required.
- Experience with **data migration** is required.
- Experience with training material development is required.
- Experience with report development is required.
- Experience with **Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe) is required**.
- Experience with **Azure DevOps** an asset
- Excellent documentation and communication skills is required, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as **Microsoft Project or Primavera**, is an asset.
- **CCP, CEP, PMP or other similar designations are considered an asset.**
