**Summary of Role**

The Supervisor Housekeeping will provide direct support to the Housekeeping associates and leadership team on all day to day operations. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring We treat ‘customers’ as guests in our own homes, fostering an environment where everyone is accountable for creating memorable guest experiences that drive loyalty and ensure 100% guest satisfaction. **Responsibilities**
- Provide ongoing supervision and support to Housekeeping Department including overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the area 
- Perform opening and closing duties as required 
- Assist/conduct performance appraisals and performance management as necessary 
- Assist with implementing strategies to achieve departmental goals and financial profitability 
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the department in the absence of the Executive/Regional and or Assistant Housekeeper 
- Assist in establishing, implementing and monitoring standards of service and operation 
- Administrative duties; schedules, payroll, performance journal updates as required 
- Control labour costs by effective shift management 
- Conduct room and public area checks, clean guest rooms and assist in laundry as required 
- Identify and resolve guest concerns/complaints to their satisfaction  
- Carry out on-the-job training to new associates as required 
- Understand and ensure compliance of all Health and Safety procedures, regulations and laws such as labels on cleaning products, correct ergonomics and ensuring protective equipment is worn when necessary 
- Ensure communication and compliance of Housekeeping’s responsibilities in the event of an emergency situation as outlined in Hotel’s Emergency Response Booklet to ensure guest and associate safety 
- All other duties as assigned 

**Experience, and Skills**
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Room Attendant 
- Previous experience in a supervisory role an asset

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Room Attendant: 2 years (preferred)
