Our company is developing an innovative online platform that will provide K-12 students worldwide with access to our high-quality tutoring services. This platform will break down geographical barriers and allow students to benefit from our expertise, regardless of their location. With this online system, students unable to attend on-campus tutoring sessions shall be able to learn and grow with us. The online platform also offers increased scheduling flexibility, allowing students to learn at their own pace and at times that suit their needs. Additionally, our teachers will have the ability to communicate with each other online, share resources, and collaborate more efficiently, enhancing the overall quality of the educational experience.

To ensure the successful development of our online platform, we are seeking to hire an experienced and motivated Information Systems Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the operations of organizations that analyze, design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business administration, or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design, information technology, or computer programming.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts
- Comfortable managing and leading a team
- Proficient in IT systems terminology
- Advanced experience in data encryption and data privacy regulations
- Proven experience in managing information systems, including software development, hardware, and networking
- Strong knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and business intelligence systems
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule upgrades, installation, and security backups of hardware and software systems
- Maintains information systems by planning, monitoring, and coordinating employees.
- Conduct research on new business technologies and IT software to enhance the organization's computer systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to identify and implement new technologies that can enhance the company's information systems.
- Regularly meeting with IT directors and upper-management staff to propose new ideas, provide project updates, and relay important information to the IT department.
- Drafting informational documents to help company employees troubleshoot standard computer problems and navigate new programs
- Plan, develop and implement the IT budget and obtain competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Managing the budget of the IT department and allocating funds based on the department's primary objectives.
- Conduct meetings with the clients to settle software requirements specification, cost estimations and deadlines.
- Responsible for training and mentoring computer analysts, engineers, programmers, and other personnel to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively maintain the systems.
- Recruiting and training IT professionals, such as support specialists, network engineers, IT analysts, and technicians, to work collaboratively as members of the IT department.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- IT: 5 years (preferred)
