**Summary**

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for quoting and pursuing coverage on all load opportunities. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for generating rate quotes, posting loads, searching for trucks, ensuring all needed information is collected from the shipper and entered into the TMS, carrier compliance, ensuring pick and delivery appointments are scheduled, ensuring check calls are made, being part of the escalation for issues the LP needs assistance with, assisting with the communication with the customer and the carrier, and for moving freight at a profit.

**Knowledge and Expertise**
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), load boards, and general logistics terms.
- Familiarity with transportation industry.
- Ability to grow within a computerized work environment and quickly adapt to in-house software.
- Efficient spoken and written English and French

- Ensure all customer requests are acknowledged within 15 minutes.
- Ensure all loads are built, posted, and booked correctly in TMS.
- Review and send all rate confirmations to carriers.
- Ensure all carriers meet Trinet’s compliance standards.
- Address customer’s satisfaction issues promptly, and elevate quickly when needed.
- Follow business development procedures and policies.
- Make sure all track and trace milestones are completed. If not supported by CSR, do all track and trace.
- Adhere to the high ethical standards of Trinet Transportation Inc., “The Trinet Way”.
- Rigorously applies all applicable laws and regulations for the industry.
- Carries out all relevant tasks required by his immediate supervisor.
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
- Assures an optimal level of quality towards customer service.
- Establishes and maintains a good relationship with the vendors.
- Be available some nights and weekends when necessary.
- Achieve and maintain a minimum monthly margin percentage of 20%.
- Review weekly and monthly numbers with Operations Manager to ensure KPIs are reached, and training is provided.
