Keyholder - Full Time - Orchard Park Mall

We are currently seeking a motivated and driven individual to join the team at one of our corporate stores in Kelowna, at the Orchard Park Mall location as a Keyholder.
The position is a permanent full-time position that requires a variety of day and evening shifts on both weekdays and weekends. At this time, we are seeking only applicants available for full-time hours (32-40 hours weekly).
The hours at our Orchard Park Mall location are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Sunday through Wednesday, and 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, shifts generally fall within these hours with the exception of early morning stock shifts which can start as early as 8:00 am
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Opening and closing store
- Refunds and voids
- Overseeing staff to ensure daily, weekly, monthly tasks are being completed in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Monitor the activities of the store employees to maximize efficiency, minimize errors and respond to customer needs in a timely fashion
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with company policy and procedures
- Motivate and work with employees to meet and exceed sales goals
- Manage backroom stock and ensure adequate inventory levels on the sales floor
- Please note you will initially be required to work in the store as a staff member while you receive training on the day to day operations, point of sale system and other duties and responsibilities performed by the Supervisor._
**Knowledge requirements, skills and/or abilities**:
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to lift boxes from 20 to 45 lbs and comfortable with use of ladders on sales floor and stock room
- Ability to delegate daily task lists for staff and ensure completion of duties and responsibilities
- A willingness to grow your leadership skills
