Accounting Clerk

OMEX Agriculture Inc. is an R&D-driven fertilizer company that develops, manufactures, sells and markets crop nutrient products for the agriculture and horticulture markets, and has a state-of-the-art formulating facility in Oak Bluff, Manitoba. **Title**:Accounting Clerk (**Full-time**).

**Salary**:Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Range $17 to $21.60 / an hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing accounts payable and production related transactions.
- Following up with suppliers regarding invoicing or payable matters.
- Reconciling general ledgers, analyzing accounts information and reporting findings and discrepancies.
- Preparing month end accounting entries.
- Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
- Researching and interpreting accounting rules and regulations whenever it’s warranted.
- Record keeping according to the internal procedures in place.
- Filing and other administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications
- Mandatory**:

- **Canadian** post-secondary education in an accounting certificate/diploma program or a minimum of 1-2 years of **Canadian** accounting work experience.
- A combination of related **Canadian** education and work experience will be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated computer experience with MS Excel and Data Analysis.
- Experience working with ERP Systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and a manufacturing background would be great asset.

Pay: $17.00-$21.60 per hour
