**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments through the POS system, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and maintaining supplies.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, menu items, and promotions.

**Requirements**:

- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with state regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
