West Four trade brands are Security Building Supplies, Madero Distribution, Penner Doors & Hardware, Two Six Creative, WSI and West Four Distribution with facilities in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary.

Our West Four Distribution location in Saskatoon, has an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor for the right individual. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall operational performance for the branch. They manage the execution of sales with the warehouse and the production teams. This encompasses the day-to-day operational components of the business. This individual will oversee all warehouse and production staff in the branch while working in collaboration with Operations Manager, Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and Division VP’s to achieve targets and budgets. The Warehouse Supervisor has the responsibility of finding ways to make the location more profitable by providing effective methods of operations. This position has a strong focus on quality customer service.

A large part of this role is the daily planning of our internal logistics, West Four has it own fleet of transport trucks and trailers, communicating with sales staff when trucks will be dispatched or delayed, working with our drivers to arrange deliveries, schedule fleet maintenance and repairs and ensuring we are compliant with safety documentations.

**COMMUNICATION AND STAFFING**
- Conduct daily meetings with the Operation Manager to ensure best practices are in place
- The Warehouse Supervisor must display strong leadership skills, resolving conflict quickly and efficiently with both the customer and company in mind
- this individual must ensure effective communication between all departments of the business

**CUSTOMER RELATIONS**
- Be comfortable meeting and speaking with all customers
- Ensure staff acts professionally when dealing with all customers
- Presenting themselves professionally in both manor and dress when attending customer facing events

**STAFFING AND TRAINING**
- To post for, interview, and monitor training of all warehouse and production employees in that location, excluding the sales team
- To ensure all new hires have read and signed all employee documentation
- Conduct semi-annual reviews with all staff members and ensure peak performance from all
- Handle all HR responsibilities with the warehouse and production teams in the branch

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the policies and procedures as established for the West Four brand. This individual will assist in developing policies and procedures for all locations and help ensure a consistent and positive brand message operationally.

To ensure that the warehouse and production department are operating at the highest level, all procedures are followed. The supervisor (if applicable) reports on day-to-day issues as they may arise.
- Health and Safety: all guidelines and laws are followed
- Warehouse management: shipping, receiving, and logistics
- Equipment: schedule and monitor all maintenance programs and give recommendations for new equipment as needed
- Building repair and maintenance: maintain the appearance and performance of the building.
- Inventory: levels, warranty, discontinued goods, credits, etc.
- Purchasing: to monitor the location’s inventory Re-buyer and all purchasing done within the location. Must have a firm understanding of required inventory levels
- Administration: stock transfers, invoicing, policies
- Production: the analytics of the production capacity
