Greater Toronto Area, Canada Advendors for G&L Group Full time

G&L Group is looking for a responsible Urban Planner who will be responsible for researching, guiding and executing all the functions required to develop lands as directed by stakeholders.

Business hours are from Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Additional hours are mandatory as per business requirements - flexibility required with significant time investment during peak periods and when workload necessitates.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research and analyze policies and procedures and zoning for all levels of Government. The research is to assess potential land uses for development and conformity with the corporation diversified business needs.
- Design, undertake and manage projects, including the preparation of projects terms of reference and work programs.
- Create and maintain technical drawings renderings and/or various graphic presentations/documents as required by stakeholders.
- Write reports, make recommendations and/or explain in detail and clear language legislations as it pertains to the task at hand.
- Ability to work evenings at various Council meetings and public presentations.
- Regular local travel within GTA as required.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Completion of Master’s Degree in Environmental Design and/or related industry.
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Represent the company by projecting a proud, positive, professional and respectful image at all times.
- Sound knowledge of the business.
- Ability to participate in executive meetings.
- Flexible, capable to manage and execute multiple tasks/priorities.
- Organized, good communicator along with good work ethics.
- Responsible and accountable furthermore adaptable to various situations.
- Solid business acumen and strategic business sense.
