**NOMAD Café in Thunder Bay Airport** Food Service Worker at Nomad YQT (Thunder Bay Airport) Nomad is currently looking for a part-time Retail Food Service Worker to join our team Come join us at the Thunder Bay Airport We are looking for someone with flexible availability that can be available for daytime shifts, evening shifts (for example: 1pm to 9pm) and morning shifts (for example: 3:15am to 10am). There is +1.00$/hr. premium for working morning shifts. We are able to offer 15-25 hours per week with an opportunity for additional hours based on performance. **Compensation Overview**: - $17.50-18.50/hr. Wage ($21-$23 w/ Tip Pool) - Tips/Tip Pool (Additional $3-$5/hr.) - Free On-Site Parking - Store Discounts - Reimbursement for required prerequisites → Work in an individual environment → Maintain exceptional customer service skills → Have strong interpersonal skills → Effectively ensure café is stocked and cleaned at all times → Communicate confidently and effectively with customers & staff → Have good product knowledge and awareness → Ability to maintain a clean working area and café → Ability to lift 50 lbs. **Job Prerequisites**: → Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (“In Good Hands”) → Valid Smart Serve Ontario → Experience with cash handling and P.O.S. systems an asset → Valid Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (R.A.I.C.)
