**The Opportunity**:
Tiltco Architectural is in search of a Junior Estimator for the window, door, and facade industry. The job works in line with the sales teams to ensure project quotations are produced accurately as well as in a timely manner.

**Job Description/Responsibilities**:

- Estimate the cost of materials, labour, and equipment for glazing projects from contract bids, quotations, drawings and specifications.
- Work with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors.
- Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs in a timely manner.
- Complete work orders, take-offs and estimates in a concise and timely manner
- Must develop relationships with the customer base to ensure excellent customer relations
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with industry professionals, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors and public agencies.
- Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives.
- Prepares and submits attractive, accurate and competitive bid packages.
- Strong communication, organizational skills and excellent time management
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Experienced in using computer programs specific to this role (MS Office)
- Bluebeam and AutoCAD knowledge is considered an asset
- Clear understanding of contract documents
- Estimating in the glazing industry or another construction/manufacturing field (2 years)
- Ability to conduct presentations virtually
- Knowledge of various Glazing systems, Glass types, and Door Hardware
- Knowledge of various Interior Glazing Systems is considered an asset

**Experience**:

- Construction estimating: 1 year (required)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
- Orgadata experience is considered an asset
- Experience with reading floor plans and architectural drawings
