**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**Operation, Set-up, care & general maintenance of perfect binding equipment**

**RESPONSIBILITIES / EFFORTS / WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Set-up & maintain production on perfect binding equipment striving to continually exceed all standards
- Maintain all equipment in good running condition & report and document all maintenance or mechanical problems immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. Updating of equipment logs is mandatory
- Be proactive in area of preventative maintenance and training. Be available for all cross-training as per Senior Management instruction and use the training to operate different equipment as the business needs dictate
- Follow all ISO guidelines & procedures as they pertain to the Our Quality policies and procedures.
- Operation of shop floor data collection systems for docket control. The updating daily of production logs and timesheets is mandatory
- Maintain highest level of housekeeping & organization in department and show leadership in his area.
- Promote excellent working relationships with internal and external clients
- Observe all plant safety rules & regulations and show leadership in this area
- Perform other duties as required by Senior Management to meet client expectations or meet our business objectives

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Minimum 5 years in trade as a perfect binding operator
- Grade 12, High school diploma preferred
- Strong oral, written & communication skills
- Must be a motivated, self starter
- Willing to accept all training as required.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.40 per hour
