**SUMMARY**:
The position of Gun Drill operator will be to perform all set-up and operations functions of Gun Drill machines required to fabricate plates for the injection molding industry.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Operate and maintain Gun Drill machine
- Familiar with latest CNC Machining strategies
- Able to make machine adjustments, and conduct tool changeovers
- Use basic inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc. to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by specifications
- Align and secure work pieces in machine appropriately
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Select the appropriate tools and measuring equipment to complete finished parts
- Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Run production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE**
- Post Secondary education in General Machining or equivalent working experience
- Minimum 3+ years of strong experience as a machinist
- Specific experience operating a gun drill machine will be considered first, willing to train otherwise.
- Experience programming using 2D/3D programming software.
- Knowledge of mold making industry is an asset
