Baker

We are hiring a baker for our morning shift (3am start time) to work out of our Sherwood Park location.

**About Us**:
WOW Factor Desserts is a dynamic, forward-thinking food innovation company specializing in Cake, Cheesecake, Specialty and Seasonal baked desserts. This position would work in a manufacturing facility preparing large-scale bakes and provide specialized support for our production team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Scaling ingredients and tasks associated with scaling
- Cooking ingredients and tasks associated with cooking
- All tasks related to baking all cakes and cheesecakes
- All tasks related to the production of mousses, icings, truffles and any other components
- Retrieval, set up, operation, disassembly and removal of all equipment in the baking department
- Cleaning tasks related to baking, cooking and scaling area
- Baking preparation work; Depanning layers, Spinning graham, Pressing dough/graham, Individual cup set up, Greasing pans, Other baking prep operations as needed.
- Other tasks may be required for operational effectiveness without compromising health and safety.

**Education & Experience**
- Previous experience in baking required.
- Diploma or Red Seal in baking or related field required.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting is an asset.

Pay: $20.90 per hour
