**Job description**
Superintendents are accountable for field operations from initial project planning to completion. The individual is responsible for the site management of the project and all project activities, including the supervision of self-performed and subcontracted construction work, and focuses on managing the execution of the work by utilizing and leveraging the team’s experience.
**Responsibility**
1. Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors the project team including direct and indirect reports.
2. Effectively communicates with own forces and trades and ensures that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met.
3. Consistently collaborates with construction/project manager and project team. Proactively manages potential problems, work interferences and schedule conflicts/setbacks.
4. Participate in preconstruction services on all negotiated project including development of site logistics, project schedule and phasing, design and constructability review and budget development
5. Determine the method of construction, materials quantities, equipment, work schedule and documentation of hours worked.
6. Liaises between field engineers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.
7. Liaises with client, other site contractors, union and labor relations, and site and office representatives.
8. Visualizes an entire project, plans, and creates the complete project schedule, identifies the critical path, and anticipates constructability issues.
9. Develops and implements Project Execution Plan (PEP) and resource-loaded three-week lookahead schedules.
10. Creates, maintains, and executes the project plan and schedule, and ensures compliance with budget and quality.
11. Reviews and understands the contract and subcontracts and develops a plan that identifies and mitigates risks and maximizes opportunities to ensure that all financial targets, including budgets, forecasts, and profitability levels are met.
12. Maintains project administration correspondence and complies with documentation requirements.
13. Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders

1. In-depth knowledge of and experience in construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures.

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
