Manager, Digital Transformation

**We are currently seeking a Manager, Digital Transformation**

Full-time, Permanent

The Manager, Digital Transformation, will play a critical leadership role in the delivery of VHA’s Digital Transformation Strategy over the next three years and beyond. This transformation aims to deliver cutting edge technology and digital experiences for VHA clients, staff and our partners in the health system. This includes virtual and remote care monitoring solutions, a client experience hub, enterprise resource platform and advanced AI-driven analytics. VHA is a home care anchor partner to many Ontario Health Teams and active in digital initiatives across multiple OHTs.

Reporting to the VP Digital Health and CIO, the role will focus on overseeing the digital transformation project portfolio and leading a team of project managers and change specialists to deliver a range of digital projects across both clinical and corporate domains. You will also report with a dotted line to the Director of Digital Operations which will help ensure appropriate alignment of project resources and priorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide oversight, set the strategy and lead a team of project and change management professionals responsible for delivering initiatives within the digital transformation portfolio. This includes overseeing delivery of projects and risk management and implementing standard practices and processes related to project and change management to ensure a consistent approach across various high profile digital initiatives
- Work with the director of digital operations and other internal stakeholders to align and prioritize projects and resources across the digital portfolio
- Deliver portfolio level project reporting to VHA digital leadership team and presentations to VHA senior leadership and the board of directors.
- Work closely with the VP Digital Health, Director of Digital Operations and other organizational stakeholders to refresh the digital transformation plan and strategy
- Represent VHA on Ontario Health Teams digital committees and projects

**Key Skills, Experience and Behaviors required for this position**:

- Bachelor's degree
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in project and/or change management in digital technology
- Experience working within a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience leading large scale digital/IT initiatives in medium to large sized organizations
- Experience and comfort using data to plan projects and report on their performance/health
- Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities and a willingness to provide direct project management support if/when required.
- Strong working knowledge of project and change management best practices, processes, and documentation
- Experience and understanding change management in a clinical environment is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of developing and leading a team.
- PMP and/or change management certification are preferred, but not required
- Outstanding communications and presentation skills, with an approachable, collaborative communication style
- Demonstrated experience developing reports/presentations for an executive audience
- Experience motivating and supporting digital project teams
- Comfortable collaborating with teams and partners to solve problems.
- Ability to be flexible in hours worked including some work after hours
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
