**Hours**: 5:00am-1:30pm Monday to Saturday (Sundays and one other day off)

(Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, work outside of ordinary office hours (including weekends and holidays) may be required)

**Starting wage**: $16/hour

Robotic equipment is used ensuring that our many varieties of lettuce are untouched by human hands throughout their life cycle in the greenhouse. **Focus**

This position is responsible for harvesting, packaging, stacking, and storage of lettuce product after removing quality defects.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Harvest product by hand, remove quality defects, and place into proper packaging
- Stack boxes of product by hand onto wood pallets
- Adhere to Health and Food Safety policies and procedures
- Report Health and Food Safety issues immediately to supervisor
- Additional tasks as required

**Education and Experience**:

- No education or experience required
- Knife experience would be an asset
- Forklift experience would be an asset
- Tractor loader experience would be an asset

**Working Conditions**
- Must be able to work in hot and humid climates found in greenhouses
- Stand and walk for up to 3 hours at a time
- Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

**Physical Requirements**
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Climb ladders and stairs regularly throughout the day
- Crouching and kneeling
- Capable of performing repetitive strenuous tasks
