The Part Time/Full Time Rope Access and/or Confined Space Technician is the key support personnel of our organisation and key performers on job sites. It is their responsibility to accept the assignment of deployments, prepare in advance for the deployments, communicate to the supervisor of the team that has been assigned to them, execute the deployment as per supervisor direction and company standards and then finalize any after action required to close out the deployment.

To be a Part Time/Full Time Rope Access and/or Confined Space Technician it is the responsibility of the employee to maintain personal health and physical fitness, temporary illness and injury aside, and to inform us if they are assigned work that they have uncertainties (for any reason) about their ability to perform. It is their responsibility to maintain certifications required by the role and to take care of audit and inspections of the company assets (vehicle and equipment) that has been assigned for their specific task.

The Part Time Rope Access and/or Confined Space Technician dually reports to the Rope Access and Confined Space Manager (primarily in respect to technical matters) and the Operations and Logistics Manager (primarily in respect to logistics and commercial matters)

**Responsibilities**:

- Executes deployments safely to the best of one's ability holding true our standards, procedures and policies
- Maintains jobsite equipment with pre inspections as per policy
- Maintains worksite company vehicle ensuring cleanliness of vehicle at end of shift
- Maintains certification ensuring they do not expire
- Full compliance on completing all required Jobsite paperwork on time such as D4H, Pronto forms, Near Miss reports as directed by supervisor
- Pre job task preparations and research to ensure readiness for the job
- Communications with worksite supervisor prior to arrival and prior to start of work participating at all times in tool-box talks
- Be available for refresher training when applicable
- Notify us where possible with sufficient warning of: availability, unavailability and any significant factor that might have an impact on the performance of duties: for example illness, injury, or fatigue
- Represents our brand by wearing our issued apparel when appropriate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 35-45 per week

**Salary**: $28.75-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:
**Experience**:

- High Angle Rescue: 1 year (preferred)
- Confined Space: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level I, II or Level III IRATA or SPRAT Certification (preferred)
