Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of **Hose Technician** at our **Nisku, AB** location.

In this role, you’ll leverage all that hands-on experience in your background and put it to good use helping us to support our customers and gain new ones while leading the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry’s best sales team.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Assemble, build, measure, cut, crimp, and test industrial and hydraulic hoses.
- Operate various cutting and machining tools such as saws, grinders, shears, crimpers, etc.
- Able to operate forklift and other small loaders.
- Inspect and test product.
- Document non-conformances.
- Communicate with supervisor any assembly discrepancies;
- Some additional branch support duties may be required

**Qualifications (experience & education)**:

- Valid license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED. Preferred technical training in related field.
- Mechanically inclined coupled with strong working ethics.
- Ability to take instructions and follow directions.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed be.
- Ability to lead by example and to promote high morale by showing enthusiasm for your work and determination to achieve results.
- Ability to establish a strong sense of trust with team members.
- Ability to learn and follow company’s policies and procedures.

**Working Conditions**:
Fast-paced environment; work under pressure; attention to detail; repetitive tasks; bending, crouching, kneeling. Able** **to lift and carry heavy parts of up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
