Gramsterdam is a family owned and operated retail cannabis store. We take pride in providing the utmost excellent customer service to our valued customers. We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Store Manager to oversee the operations of our cannabis store. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the store while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to cannabis sales. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of the cannabis industry. We are looking for a knowledgeable, energetic and outgoing individual who has a passion for cannabis and who values great hospitality, enjoy serving others, and want to take the time to get to know their community.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Sell Safe and QCW (Qualified Cannabis Worker)
- Minimum 1 Year of management experience preferably in Cannabis
- Must be able to work closing shifts
- Flexibility with work hours as store is open until 12am

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting customers in a welcoming manner
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Diligent in checking government issued IDs
- Upkeep knowledge about cannabis products and latest trends in the cannabis industry
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, and budgets
- Updating menus weekly on delivery days
- Processing payments and returns on the company dispensary point of sale
- Ensure storefront and cannabis vault are clean and well organized at all times
- Educating first time users on the products being purchased
- Organizing inventory in cannabis vault and sales area
- Counting inventory
- Must be able to lift 20-35 lb boxes on delivery days
- Manage all opening and closing procedures
- Accountability and management of cash handling procedures
- Oversee and manage store merchandising, daily operations, collaborate with

marketing, and execute overall store and company standards

- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T3J 4X5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
