Powder Coater

**Shifts: Night (Sunday evening to Friday morning: 10:00pm-6:30am), Day (Monday to Friday: 6:30am-3:00pm), Afternoon (Monday to Friday: 3:00pm-11:30pm).** **Must be flexible to work all shifts. Determined shifts are straight shifts.** **Job Type**: Permanent Full-time **Probation Wage**: $22 - $23 + Shift Premium **Probation Completion Wage**: $24 + Shift Premium **One Year Wage**: $25 + Shift Premium *Pay ranges are dependent on shift and experience **Benefits of Working at Mott**: - Hiring Bonus - Competitive compensation package - Benefit package, including health care, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, out of country medical - Annual profit sharing - Group Pension and RRSP (after 6 months of employment) - Safety shoe and safety glasses allowances **KEY Responsibilities**: - Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (or the “Act”) and the regulations; and Mott policies. - Dry excess water off of parts - Sand and rework parts to acceptable quality when there is any rework - Maintain coating guns daily - Repair coating guns when needed - Report defects in parts or equipment - Participate in colour change process including cleaning the booth - Recognize and trouble shoot problems and adjust accordingly - Follow the coating department’s break times - Maintain a clean coating area - Perform other duties as required **Skills & Experience**: - Powder coating experience - Good organizational skills - Able to establish between different colours on the colour spectrum - Physically fit for heavy lifting of >35 lbs - Ability to wear a fit-tested respirator for safety purposes.
