**Inventory Control Co-ordinator**

Polycorp, located in Elora, Ontario, is the industry leader in the design and manufacture of engineered polymer products for a global customer base in the Rail, Mining, and Protective Linings industries. As a result of continued growth, we are looking for a Production Control and Inventory Planner.

**Inventory Control Coordinator Position Summary**: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for counting, maintaining and management of raw materials and finished goods inventory. This position will have ownership for the overall accuracy of inventory. This role requires working within the company’s goals and objectives of safety, quality, cost, and delivery, ensuring the accuracy of raw materials and finished goods.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Inventory Planning**:

- Implement effective cycle count program.
- Develop location-based tracking and management of inventory.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory.
- Cycle counts as required: daily, monthly, annual.
- Root causes inventory inaccuracies.
- Continuously develop lean activities.
- Manage and maintain data in the ERP system.
- Maintain and report metrics via spreadsheet ERP, Syspro etc.
- Perform all other duties as required.

**Skills Required**:

- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize activities as required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Initiative and strong desire to be a positive force for change

**Education & Experience Required**:

- College/University education in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with MRP in an ERP environment.

**Additional Desirables (Preferred but Not Required)**:

- Experience working within a rubber production environment.
