We are currently recruiting a **Counter Salesperson** to join our team of dedicated professionals in **Bridgewater, NS.**
**What is my role?**
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will provide high level customer service to clients and potential customers, initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing customers. Additionally, you will:
- Ensure follow-up by passing leads to Sales/Branch Manager with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
- Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
- Overcome objections of prospective customers.
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare customer sales orders.
- Warehouse duties are routinely part of this position.

As an Eddy Group Ltd Salesperson, your role will be to exemplify our brand image as an ambassador and provide positive brand experiences to all customers. You will have a sales background with proven customer service skills and a positive attitude. Additionally, you will have/be:
- Strong knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or related field considered a strong asset.

This is a full-time salaried position working out of our location in Bridgewater, NS. The location will be open from 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but hours outside of these should be expected. Salary is based on an 8-hour day, 40-hour week. Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience.
