**Fort Garry Industries is opening a second branch in Edmonton, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our team at our new Edmonton East location.**

**What You Will Do**:

- Uphold and embody FGI's core values and customer service standards
- Champion FGI's safety culture
- Oversee warehouse operational requirements
- Maintain staffing levels by interviewing, hiring and training employees to meet operational demands
- Support and lead warehouse staff through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers by overseeing shipping, customer orders and dispatching drivers to service customers
- Inspect warehouse equipment and racking and arrange repairs as needed
- Process special order product returns and warranty claims
- Ensure all warehouse staff are following FGI policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

**What We Require**:

- Five years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse environment required
- Two years of warehouse management experience required
- Excellent Customer Service skills - dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.
- Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills
- Previous experience in inventory management is an asset
- Previous experience with parts cataloguing systems and barcode systems is an asset
- Previous experience working with warehouse equipment is an asset
- Heavy duty parts knowledge or background is an asset
