- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in capital markets, preferably within Operations or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of FX products, including Spot/Forwards, Swaps, Non-Deliverable Forwards and OTC FX Options.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); technical proficiency in Excel is a must, including VBA (able to understand macros) and SQL (can write simple queries)
- Working knowledge of programming tools, such as Alteryx, Python and UiPath is a definite asset.
- Ability to work independently as the senior or lead and coach or guide team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of intellectual curiosity, passion and self-motivation
- Strong sense of teamwork and leadership
- Sound understanding of risk management
- Ability to deal with multiple complex issues at the same time while meeting client deadlines
- Design, creativity and problem-solving skills
- Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
- Commitment to excellence
- Fast learner who is dedicated to continuously improving their skills and expertise.
- Experience with Murex is a definite asset
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, FXall, Finastra and TradeNexus is also a definite asset
